Room Renovations
Room 1
This room was fitted with a new floor, door, skirting boards and fire surround. The stairs were originally painted white with no spindles. We covered the flight with real pine boarding and fitted new balustrading, including spindles.
Room 2
This garage was converted into a summer house. The old up & over garage door was removed and replaced with a glass door, window with framework, boarding and was finished in Burma Teak Sadolin wood stain.
Internally, the room was originally just bare bricks, timber rafters and concrete floor. The floor was fitted with DPM, insulation, chipboard, flooring, underlay and finished with maple laminated flooring. The walls were fitted with a vapour barrier, timber battens, rockwool insulation, insulation boards and finished with plasterboard & skim with panelling at the bottom.
